This stunning Haute Couture Quality blouse from the late 1950s is completely made by hand and features an elaborate cut with six fabric-covered buttons at the front. The fabric is divine - a lightweight blood red cotton with a delicate black floral print - actually the fabric is coated with an ultrathin kind of plastic. Colour and print are very very typical for the late 1950s, the big designers as the likes of Christian Dior and Pierre Balmain all used very similar fabrics in their collections. An outstanding couture piece.
